What the assistant is for
The website chat assistant is provided by Quayside Medical Practice for general information only. It explains how our practice works. It can explain how to do things such as ordering a prescription, but it cannot do them for you.
Not medical advice
The assistant does not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It cannot see your medical record.
Not monitored
Nobody at the practice reads what you type into the assistant. It runs in your own web browser, and what you type is not sent to us or kept, so we cannot see it or reply to you through it. Using it does not count as contacting the practice.
Availability and accuracy
We do not guarantee that the assistant will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or withdraw it, or change its answers, at any time without notice. If an answer differs from our website pages or from what our staff tell you, follow the website page or our staff.
Other ways to contact us
You do not have to use the assistant. You can contact us online, call 0161 357 1600, or visit us at Keppel Building, Ashton Road West, Failsworth, Manchester, M35 0AD. Admin queries can be emailed to [email protected] (not for medical problems).
