Appointments
Call us on 0161 357 1600 or contact us online to request an appointment.
Calling for an appointment
Please call us on 0161 357 1600. We have two calling times depending on what you need:
Same-day appointments
Call from 8am if you need to be seen today. Same-day appointments are released at 8am and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call as early as possible.
Routine appointments
Call from 10am to book a routine appointment for a non-urgent matter. Routine appointments are booked from a few days' time onwards, depending on availability.
No need to wait on hold
We offer a free call-back service. Instead of waiting on the line, our system will call you when you reach the front of the queue and put you straight through to one of our team.
Request an appointment online
You can also contact us online to request a routine appointment. Online requests are reviewed by a GP or clinician — they are not suitable for urgent or same-day matters. Please do not use the online form if you need to be seen today; call us instead.
Please note
Online requests are not monitored in real time. A clinician will review your request and respond, but this will not be the same day. Routine appointments requested online will be booked from a few days' time onwards. If your matter is urgent, please call 0161 357 1600 from 8am.
What happens after an online request
A clinician reads every online request and decides what help you need.
- •Routine appointment — we will contact you to arrange a suitable appointment from a few days' time onwards. We aim to respond within 2 working days.
- •Clinical question — a GP or clinician will review your question and respond, usually within 2 working days.
- •Admin request — we aim to reply within 3 working days. We often reply the same day.
We may contact you by text message or phone. We may offer an appointment in person or by phone with a doctor, nurse or other healthcare professional.
Early morning, evening and weekend appointments
We offer appointments outside normal hours:
- Thursday, 7am to 8am
- Friday, 4pm to 8pm
- Every fifth Saturday, 9am to 5pm
You can also be seen every Saturday at another local practice in our Primary Care Network. Ask us when you book.
Home visits
Home visits are for patients who are housebound and cannot leave home. Ask for a home visit before 12pm on a weekday. Call 0161 357 1600.
If you cannot come to your appointment
Please tell us as soon as you can, so we can offer the appointment to someone else. Call 0161 357 1600 or contact us online. We send a text reminder before your appointment.
Need an interpreter? Tell us when you book and we will arrange one.
Need help now?
Call 999 if someone's life is at risk. For example: chest pain, severe bleeding, signs of a stroke, or difficulty breathing.
Use NHS 111 if you need medical help and it is not an emergency. NHS 111 is open 24 hours a day, every day. Go to 111.nhs.uk or call 111.
When we are closed (evenings after 6:30pm, weekends and bank holidays), use NHS 111. They can arrange for you to see an out-of-hours doctor if you need one.
